Our city-centre campus is continually developing and evolving, and we have plans for further investment in it over the next few years. We are a major presence in Coventry, which contributes to the city’s friendly and vibrant atmosphere and enables us to foster successful business partnerships.
Through our links with leading edge businesses and organisations in the public and voluntary sectors, our students are able to access project and placement opportunities that enhance their employability on graduation.

We are also have a strong presence in leadership and Management and Public Health.
Welcome to University of Northampton
The University of Northampton is one of the youngest universities in the UK but we are already leading the way in adding value to society, which we call social impact. We have won multiple awards for our work in this area, among others, but what matters the most to us is ensuring that our students and graduates have the opportunity to make their mark on the world too. That’s why we were the first university in the UK to be named as a Changemaker Campus in 2012.
We want to break the mould of what Higher Education can be. This has led us to build a whole new University from the ground up that is designed to reflect the way that you actually learn rather than the way you are expected to learn. Join us and you will be one of the first students through the doors of our Waterside Campus.
This 27th Annual Meeting of the Florence Network will be hosted by Coventry University. The main theme of the meeting is “Future Forward: The Future of Nursing & Midwifery in a Changing Health Arena”. This theme seeks to examine how nurses and midwifery education and practice needs to respond to better prepare practitioners for the healthcare arena of the future. Advanced roles have emerged over the last 25 years in response to changes in healthcare delivery, extended roles of nursing and midwifery practitioners, and new standards for nurse and midwifery education. Sub themes will look at developing compassionate practice, resilience in the nursing and midwifery workforce, advanced clinical practice and innovation creativity in nursing and midwifery education.
The Event will be held at our state of the art conference centre, science, and health building at Coventry University and at the new waterside campus at the University of Northampton
